Extreme Journey
High School Camp
In Partnership with the UVA Summer Enrichment Program
June
22 – July 3, 2008

Rising ninth through eleventh graders across the nation are invited to take
the Extreme Journey High School Camp, a two week leadership immersion program that
places students where pivotal decisions shaped our nation.
- Bike the C&O canal, hike Harpers Ferry, canoe Ball’s Bluff and
travel back in time to Montpelier, Monticello, Ash Lawn and Dodona Manor
guided by historians and the writings of our nation’s most revered
leaders
- Develop leadership and critical thinking skills during this two week residential
program at the University of Virginia.
- Create original vodcasts using iPods, digital and
video cameras, and movie making software.
