The Journey Through Hallowed Ground Partnership to Hold Its Annual Meeting and Gala on May 1, 2008, with David Mccullough
Annual Meeting at James Madison’s Montpelier in Orange, Va., and Gala Celebration at the Inn at Meander Plantation in Locust Dale, Va.

Waterford, Virginia—The Journey Through Hallowed Ground Partnership (JTHG Partnership) is proud to announce that its Annual Meeting will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2008, from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at James Madison’s Montpelier in Orange, Va. The daylong meeting is in partnership with the Orange Downtown Alliance and the County of Orange and will feature a special presentation by two-time Pulitzer Prize winning author David McCullough. The day will also include a special unveiling of the Partnership’s new book, published by the National Geographic Society, The Journey Through Hallowed Ground: Birthplace of the American Ideal.  The registration fee is $125 per person. The Partnership will also host a Gala Celebration with David McCullough on the evening of May 1, 2008, at 6:30 p.m., at the Inn at Meander Plantation. The evening is hosted by innkeepers Suzanne Thomas and Suzie Blanchard and will feature fantastic fare and entertainment. Tickets for the Gala are $275 per person.
