Waterford, Virginia—The Journey Through Hallowed
Ground Partnership (JTHG Partnership) is proud to announce that its Annual
Meeting will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2008, from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at
James Madison’s Montpelier in Orange, Va. The daylong meeting is in partnership
with the Orange Downtown Alliance and the County of Orange and will feature
a special presentation by two-time Pulitzer Prize winning author David McCullough.
The day will also include a special unveiling of the Partnership’s new
book, published by the National Geographic Society, The Journey Through
Hallowed Ground: Birthplace of the American Ideal. The registration

Celebration with David McCullough on the evening of May 1, 2008, at 6:30 p.m.,
at the Inn at Meander Plantation. The evening is hosted by innkeepers Suzanne
Thomas and Suzie Blanchard and will feature fantastic fare and entertainment.
