Certified Tourism Ambassador Program
Our tailored CTA Program is designed to give
front-line hospitality employees and volunteers learning experiences to build
upon their knowledge of both the local area and the Journey Through Hallowed
Ground National Heritage Area.
We intend to help our partners increase local and regional tourism by teaching
and inspiring front-line hospitality employees and volunteers to turn every
visitor encounter into a positive one, even an exceptional one.
The premise is simple: If front-line employees and volunteers (those who come
into immediate contact with the visitor) provide quality service to visitors,
those visitors are more likely to have a positive experience, causing them
to stay longer, see more sites within the National Heritage Area, tell their
friends about their terrific experiences, and even return to the region.
The bottom line is that everyone benefits – visitors, the hospitality
industry, and the local economy.
