Mt. Zion Old School Baptist Church

During the Civil War, this 1851 church served as a rendezvous site for Confederate Colonel John S. Mosby's men, a barracks, prison, hospital, and burial ground for Confederate and Union soldiers. Interior closed for restoration.

Located on Rte. 50, 1 mile east of Rte. 15 (Gilberts Corner).
