A Christmas Eve Special Program of the Gettysburg Cyclorama

DATE AND TIME

December 24, 2020 9:00 am December 24, 2020 1:00 pm

Join for a special “lights up” program throughout the day on the Gettysburg Cyclorama.

Guests have the opportunity to purchase tickets to experience the Gettysburg Cyclorama painting without the traditional light and sound show that depicts the battle sounds and cannon fire of Pickett’s Charge. The special “lights up” program will feature a talk while in full light of the painting. Visitors will see a very different view of the 360-degree historic painting with the lights up and will gain an understanding of the history and scenes depicted in the painting with the opportunity for questions and answers.

Guests will start with the film presentation of A New Birth of Freedom followed by the “lights up” Cyclorama program and access throughout the day to the Gettysburg Museum of the American Civil War. (The last film and cyclorama show will begin at noon on December 24.)

Prior to visiting the Museum & Visitor Center, visitors are encouraged to purchase tickets at GettysburgFoundation.org and read more about our health and safety protocols. To assist with contactless payment, visitors are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance either online or via phone at 877-874-2478.

The last film and cyclorama show will begin at noon on December 24.
