On October 10th at 2PM, Barbara C. Batson, co-author of The Campaign for Woman Suffrage in Virginia and the Exhibition Coordinator for the Library of Virginia, will give a virtual lecture on the history of the Equal Suffrage League of Virginia. The Fauquier History Museum at the Old Jail is celebrating the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment’s ratification and this lecture will take you through the efforts of the largest Woman Suffrage group in the state as they fought to bring the vote to women in Virginia.

The lecture will take place on Zoom, a videoconferencing tool. Guests will need to sign up for a free zoom account and include their email so that they can receive the link for the lecture. Tickets are $6
