Goose Creek Bridge was a site of the June 21, 1863 Battle of Upperville, a prelude to the Battle of Gettysburg, and part of the Cavalry Battles of Aldie, Middleburg and Upperville. The park today stands as a wonderful mix of history and nature. Walk across the 200-year-old stone bridge that stood as a key point in the Battle of Upperville.
