An Introduction to Conservation Easements

DATE AND TIME

December 8, 2020 6:00 pm December 8, 2020 7:30 pm

Conservation easements are one of the best tools landowners can use to protect the land they love. Across Virginia, thousands of families have used conservation easements to permanently protect farmland, forests, wildlife habitat, water, and open space.
Join the Blue Ridge Conservation Alliance and staff from PEC and the Land Trust of Virginia for an introduction about the benefits of conservation easements, costs, financial incentives and the steps to placing an easement on your land. Landowners will also be on-call to answer questions about their personal experiences with the process.
Please register in advance. If you’re unable to attend, don’t worry! The webinar recording will be sent out afterwards to everyone who registered.
