Activities and immersive experiences for all ages will bring to life the stories of soldiers and civilians impacted by the August 9, 1862 Battle of Cedar Mountain in Culpeper, Virginia. Visit military encampments, participate in a school of the soldier, watch an arms demonstration, investigate artifacts in the kids’ tent, learn how 19th century photographers got their battlefield shots, discover the language of the signal corps, and more. Battlefield tours will be available.
